A Writerly Blog
Has it been two years? Wow. Tempus Fugit!
As long as I'm celebrating The Heart Changer’s 2nd birthday, I might as well share some of the marketing images I've created on Canva. If you don't know about that site (no matter what your profession) you are missing out on an incredible resource! There are many tutorials to help you create an image. And best of all, it's free at a basic level.
Book Launch Image Ideas
There are many types of images you can create for specific purposes. For instance, maybe I want to share a quote from my book:
Or, I want to post a few review comments . . .
Images for a Logo or Social Media Header
Sometimes, I need a creative header for social media, or a logo:
Maybe I want to feature my author’s journey. People often ask, “When did your desire to be an author first begin?” To answer, I can share this image. It speaks for itself.
Images for a FaceBook Live
If I plan to hold a Facebook Live Book Launch session (and I do!) I will need images like the ones below to foster interaction:
I even created this image to print off and place in my paperbacks along with a bookmark to encourage reviews — SO important to an author’s success.
And last, but certainly not least, is an invite to my Facebook Live Birthday Bash on April 26th!
I hope this has given you ideas for ways you can use Canva in creating images for your marketing needs. And if you don't have a book out, or soon to be published — no worries!! Tell the world about your writing process or your WIP using engaging images with your brand colors.
And I hope to see you at 4:30 pm CST on the 26th - less than two weeks away. But don't worry if you can't make it on time. If you come on over and comment within 24 hours, you will be entered into a giveaway for an e-book, e-audiobook or a woven keyring reminiscent of a favorite scene in The Heart Changer. See you then!!
My MG Biblical fiction "The Heart Changer" debuted in 2019 with Ambassador International.
