16 Days and Counting! There is so much yet to do before April 26th — Launch Day! Creating memes, connecting with my launch team, getting my giveaways and prizes ready for my book signing and Facebook Live, as well as writing a steady stream of guest posts. Oh, and keeping up with my social media and FaceBook groups. Yikes! I feel as though I’m running towards a finish line. It takes perseverance! My word of the year - aptly chosen. I have been honored with the responses from my book launch team, who have the privilege of reading my debut novel before the general public. And I’ve been so encouraged by their comments! You can see a couple of them in the image above. Miriam's story is one of hope amidst despair. The quote below is taken from the middle of the book. With war raging in all parts of the world, but especially in the Middle East, The Heart Changer plot reads almost like a current event, with one exception: Miriam, an Israelite, is captured and taken to Syria, instead of Syrian refugees fleeing their own country to nearby nations for safety. What is the hope Miriam hangs on to in this volatile chapter in her life? Well, you'll need to read her story! There's still time to pre-order on AMAZON. And if you do, I have a special gift for you! An MP3 of a song composed by my good friend, Denise: In the Desert. A perfect theme song for The Heart Changer. Order your copy today, and come back and click on this link (I trust you), fill out the form, and not only will you receive the download, but have access to my occasional newsletter filled with inspiration for your own journey. I have also been blessed by the number of guest posts I've been generously offered. I wonder if I'll ever run out of things to write. Here are links to the last three: Patti Shene's Over 50 Writer, Jennifer Slattery Lives Out Loud and American Christian Fiction Writer's Fiction Finder - I was interviewed by Kristy Horine, a former journalist! I'm sure you'll learn something new about me in these posts. Phillis, at Among the Reads, creates beautiful memes to share on social media. Here is one below: As a reminder, if you are in the Chicago area on Sunday, April 28th, from 2pm to 4pm, come out to my book signing! If you know of any middle-graders and their parents, grandparents, teachers or librarians, invite them, too! Here's the info below, and a link to TeaLulas Oh. And one more thing.
